		<description>I guess you're right for Vonage-packaged routers.  I don't have any experience with the locked ones.

This router was purchased without a packaged plan, so it was not locked down by the VoIP provider.  Linksys/Cisco support technicians don't even have the ability to pull up that page on their simulator.  I guess that if the router has been pre-configured by a VoIP provider then this won't help at all.</description>
