WRT54GP2 and iiNet VoIP

A friend sent me this after struggling with the WRT54GP2 settings for a week. It looks like the web administration for the WRT doesn’t quite match up with human expectations of what things are called!

In your web browser, go to http://192.168.15.1/Voice_adminPage.htm.

Note: This is the hidden admin page not accessible through the main web interface!

Select “Line 1” on top menu.

The “SIP Settings” should be:
Under “Proxy and Registration”:
Under “Subscriber Information”, enter:

Display Name: [Your VoIP Number] — Don’t think this matters
User ID: [Your VoIP Number]
Auth ID: [Your VoIP Number]
Use Auth ID: yes
Password: [Your VoIP password]

I guess you’re right for Vonage-packaged routers. I don’t have any experience with the locked ones.

This router was purchased without a packaged plan, so it was not locked down by the VoIP provider. Linksys/Cisco support technicians don’t even have the ability to pull up that page on their simulator. I guess that if the router has been pre-configured by a VoIP provider then this won’t help at all.
