When 2.0 was first released, it did this and I uninstalled and went back to 1.5. I just updated about 5 minutes ago and i have the same problem. This is terrible. I chose firefox because it was so stable and it's exactly the opposite! This is terrible! this does nothing for me… firefox is freezing every 1 or 2 minutes and for about 10 seconds. My Flash reinstall has certainly decreased the frequency of freezes, but not eliminated them. Now that Adobe have open sourced the AS2 VM, FF2+ <em>should</em>/might make Flash a first class citizen and not freeze my browser or eat my ctrl-W's. There are various minor problems, like focus stealing, it being on top of the rest of the website (which is really bad for HTML menus and a flash animation right below it). It used to cause crashes in FF1.5 for me as well. Surprising, then, that I haven't had any issues with FF2... Flash has never really worked for me in firefox.
