15-Jul-2006This is a scan of the inside cover art for Lucy Cousins’ L’Arche de Noé (Noah’s Ark, in French!) showing pairs of animals walking two by two into the ark to commence their free 40 day P&O “procreate or perish” cruise.
It’s obvious from this picture that today’s peafowl are clones.
