That’s much better. Turns out the IE-large-amount-of-space-on-the-left issue was just your site centering itself…

One last, html-standards-rule-my-life kind of thing: is there a reason why (other than the admirable quality of saving bandwidth) the page doesn’t really end? There’s no closing body or html. Nor is it Valid XHTML… Is this an issue with WordPress?

Keep up the good work though!

Just a thought: I know the site is brainsnorkel, but what exactly is it that my brain is snorkelling (what an odd word) in?

Actually, it turns out that the header php has some hard coded line breaks… so much for messing around in the css — *sigh*

Much better, at least in Mozilla. But IE now shows a ridiculous amount of space on the left, and in both browsers you might want to fix the enormous gap at the top of the page :( Style sheets are hard…

Please consider putting the margin back on the LHS of the theme. The site looks … untidy without it!

Oh yer, when the teething troubles start to abate, give the Markdown plugin a go (already installed but not activated by default in WP 1.5).

It’s a lot nicer way to write HTML.

I found the “users must register to comment” field, which wasn’t in the discussion pane where I expected it.
