Alan Green | 4-Feb-2005I wonder if it’s because O’Reilly went hard on Mike Moore for using that hyperbolic style, and has enough integrity to condemn Coulter for using the same style? A pleasing development, if so.
PS: I hate your Turing test because it keeps telling me that I am a machine. I get I and 1 and 0 and O mixed up all the time. Wordpress then eats my comment, so if I didn’t defensively copy it to the clipboard first I have to type it all again. Sometimes I don’t bother (maybe that’s a good thing :)

Richard | 5-Feb-2005My guess is that the entire reason for the interview (and I use the term loosely, in O’Reilly’s case) is to distance the Fox Position from saying “McCarthy is misunderstood”. And maybe to attack her for not going after Bill Maher (a man with his own show and some… interesting opinions on a range of issues. See for example his thoughts on vaccines).
