The voice of the people

23-Sep-2004

The Chaser Decides showed an interesting experiment tonight. This interesting experiment was to call up John Laws and Alan Jones and attempt to read as much of the script of a Liberal party TV election ad as they could. Kind of like Media Watch, should they ever decide that entrapment is fair play.

The results are telling, and entertaining, if a little unfair.

I came this x close to blogging about that last night.

Funniest thing I’d seen for a while.

And I think talkback radio hosts are fair game.

The funniest part was certainly that Alan Jones appeared to recognise what was going on, and started to read/parrot his own prepared script. Perish the thought, but it’s almost like he was waiting for a Liberal stooge to call in so he’d have a chance to read from his script.

    Stay brave and true!
